Laser Components appoints Sven Schreiber as Managing Director
Laser Components Germany GmbH has now appointed an additional Managing Director, Sven Schreiber. Schreiber, who has been responsible for all sales and marketing activities as Sales Manager since 2014, will manage the company's fortunes alongside owner Patrick Paul in future.
Schreiber first came into contact with the photonics industry while studying business administration and economics in the USA. He initially joined Laser Components in 2002 as Export Manager and was largely responsible for expanding the global distributor network, which is still one of the cornerstones of the group's success today.
"Sven Schreiber and I have been working together successfully for many years," explains company owner Patrick Paul. "During this time, we have found that we have always agreed on all important strategic decisions. As I will be concentrating more on the Group's international activities in the future, it was almost a matter of course to give Sven Schreiber responsibility for the German business."
