This year's Dörken Days took place in Essen on November 23, 2023. For over ten years, this traditional event has been a permanent fixture in the event calendar and a meeting place for customers, market partners and experts along the entire value chain.

Christos Tselebidis, Vice President Sales Industrial Coatings at Dörken Coatings, welcomed the participants to the Atlantic Congress Hotel Essen and provided an overview of news at Dörken and on the global market. Christian Rabe and Markus Nowak from the Product Engineering team then gave a follow-up to last year's event. Throughout the day, Dörken employees provided exciting insights into current topics. For example, they discussed the influence of the planned PFAS ban on product development, the Delta-Protekt TC 502 GZ topcoat, which was presented in 2023, and room-temperature curing corrosion protection solutions. Business partners also shared their experiences on stage. Beatrice Occhionero from A. Agrati S. p. A., for example, gave a presentation entitled "Enhancing of Testing Insights: A Deep Dive into massive Data Analysis". Geoffrey Bruno from Enovasense reported on the topic of coating thickness measurement.

Marvin Urban's presentation on "Digital Transformation" was the last talk of the day. Urban is one of two managing directors of Dörken Digital Ventures GmbH, which is tackling the market challenges of the future. Christos Tselebidis had the closing words of the varied day. Afterwards, all participants moved on to dinner together. Not only there, but also during the day between the presentations, the participants were able to make contacts and hold discussions. "We are delighted that we were once again able to welcome numerous Dörken live partners on site this year - and in even greater numbers than usual," says Christos Tselebidis. "We would like to thank them for the trust they have placed in us and for the exciting input we have gained from personal discussions. I'm already looking forward to next year!"
