Adler offers customized solutions for roll-to-roll coating

Leading manufacturers in the European furniture and kitchen industry have long relied on coatings from Adler. The usual competent Adler service is guaranteed by a newly assembled team of experts: experienced paint technician Ralf Menke in the technical field service, chemist Dr. Sebastian Bräuchle in the laboratory and sales professional Julian Berghofer.

Extremely fast feed speeds, high demands on resistance and surface quality with minimal application quantities, plus a wide variety of substrates, application and curing processes: The roll-to-roll process poses enormous challenges for the coating process - but Adler knows it is equipped for them: "Our diverse product range provides an excellent basis for covering all requirements, whether in terms of the look and feel of the surface, adhesion, elasticity or special curing processes," explains Dr. Bräuchle. To this end, Adler has a state-of-the-art application technology competence center where all processes can be simulated under laboratory conditions. "In addition to UV hardeners and an excimer system, we also acquired an electron beam hardener last year and can therefore reproduce all common hardening processes," says Ralf Menke. Adler also scores highly with its expertise and credibility in the area of sustainability, explains Dr. Bräuchle: "We pursue a consistent sustainability strategy based on the principles of the circular economy. Our low-emission coating systems with a high proportion of renewable raw materials enable sustainable surface finishing of the highest quality."
