Adler Lacke joins Climate Alliance Tyrol

According to the motto "Think globally - act locally", the Climate Alliance Tyrol supports companies, communities and educational institutions in their commitment to a sustainable economy and society. Recently, Austria's leading paint manufacturer Adler also joined the approximately 230 members of the Climate Alliance Tyrol.
Sustainability has always been a top priority at Adler Lacke. Thus, the company has a wide range of ecological paints and coatings according to the principles of recycling management. Exemplary energy management and the supply of electricity from renewable sources contribute to environmental and climate protection just as much as the conscientious cleaning and disposal of waste, exhaust air and waste water. In this way, Adler also easily mastered the climate check, which is the prerequisite for joining the Climate Alliance. Dr. Clemens Le Levé, responsible for climate protection and energy projects at Adler, is pleased about the admission to the sustainability network: "We can only go the way to a more sustainable world together. Institutions like the Climate Alliance make a very valuable contribution to this."
With projects, events and training courses, the Climate Alliance promotes a climate-friendly lifestyle in the Austrian province of Tyrol. At the same time, all regional members are networked with Climate Alliance partners throughout Europe as well as with organizations in the Brazilian Amazon region, where Climate Alliance is committed to protecting the rainforest. This supra-regional partnership is also of particular concern to Adler, because as a climate-neutral company, the paint manufacturer has already been offsetting its residual CO2 emissions for some time by supporting climate protection projects in Brazil. And Adler also has big plans for the future, explains Dr. Le Levé: "For the coming years, we have set ourselves an ambitious package of measures with which we want to further reduce our CO2 footprint and develop into a completely climate-neutral company in the long term."
