Adler Lacke inaugurates new base in Herford

Adler has had its own base in Herford (North Rhine-Westphalia) since 2012, but the previous location was already bursting at the seams. For years, the Austrian paint manufacturer has been able to attract many new customers to its innovative product solutions, particularly in central and northern Germany. "Here in Herford, we are at the center of the German kitchen and furniture industry, which has relied on Adler for many years," says Heico Cuwalsky, Adler Sales Manager for Central and Northern Germany. "But window and door manufacturers, joiners and carpenters, painters and the paint trade also appreciate our expertise in the field of environmentally friendly water-based paints, our product quality and our expert advice." They can all look forward to even more service in the future: All standard products are quickly available in the new base's spacious warehouse and can be tinted on site. In the application technology department, special colors and build-up recommendations are developed and customer samples from effect glazes to UV furniture lacquers are created. A store invites customers to browse through the diverse Adler range and be inspired, and the modern training area offers a wide range of theoretical and practical seminars from the Adler Academy.

New Adler location in Herford officially opened

After a year of construction, the new "Adler Shop & Service Herford" opened for business in fall 2024, followed by the official inauguration in May. Numerous guests accepted Adler's invitation and spent a varied afternoon with Tyrolean delicacies and lively music from the "Cölsch Crainer" by Frank Remih, a long-standing sales expert in the Adler team. Visitors were able to see the modern premises for themselves during guided tours, and there was also plenty of opportunity for professional discussions. "It was an all-round successful afternoon with lots of interesting conversations and a great atmosphere," enthuses Heico Cuwalsky. In her welcome address, Adler Managing Director Andrea Berghofer emphasized: "Especially in difficult economic times, it is crucial to look to the future with courage and lay the foundations for future success through investment. With our new Shop & Service Herford, we are moving even closer to our customers and offering reliable delivery, competent on-site service and personal support from the ten-strong base team and our field sales team."
