Ligna 2023: Laser Components shows laser modules for wood processing

Laser Components will present laser modules at Ligna 2023 that are specifically suited for use in woodworking. In Hall 15 at Booth B06, the company will focus on lasers for machine vision, positioning and marking tasks.
Positioning lasers ensure precise cutting and drilling in the wood industry. The dust-tight housings of the Flexpoint ILM12F- and HD-series from Laser Components offer a decisive advantage, especially in the demanding working environment of this industry. The lasers' choice of green (520 nm) or red (635 nm) light is eye-safe according to laser class 1 or 2. The ILM12F module offers a special advantage, with its integrated M12 thread allowing fast and secure assembly. The Flexpoint MV series was developed by Laser Components for use in machine vision. The product features of the modules are designed to deliver reliable results even in real-time, high-resolution image processing. This allows significant efficiency gains in sawmills or in the inspection of finished furniture parts. MV modules in various sizes and performance classes will be presented at Ligna. "Ligna is one of the most important trade fairs for the wood processing industry and provides us with an ideal platform to tap into this important market for our laser modules," says Jochen Maier, head of the Optosystems business unit at Laser Components. "We look forward to engaging with visitors to the show and offering them tailored solutions that will increase their productivity and efficiency." Ligna is considered the world's leading trade fair for wood processing and will take place from May 15 to 19 in Hanover, Germany.
