Geiss: Safety containers for modified alcohols and hydrocarbons

With the Variobox, Richard Geiss GmbH offers a new safety container for modified alcohols and hydrocarbons. The Variobox is sustainable, safe, flexible and smart and is made of robust mono-materials for safe transportation.
The new Varibox 250 from solvent specialist Richard Geiss GmbH is 99% recyclable thanks to its robust mono-materials. As a double-walled safety container for modified alcohols and hydrocarbon solutions, the new Varibox 250 guarantees safe transportation and equally safe storage - without the need for safety containment trays. Practical on site: The new Varibox 250 can be transported with forklifts and pallet trucks and can be stacked on top of each other up to 522 kilograms. Particularly smart: as a Connect variant, the Varibox 250 enables optional mobile and digital monitoring. "With the new Varibox, we are perfectly complementing our product portfolio and offering our customers a sustainable and particularly safe alternative to conventional IBCs. Our new container impresses with its easy handling and safe storage of solvents," explains Bastian Geiss, Managing Partner of Richard Geiss GmbH.
Varibox from Geiss is triple safe
Thanks to its retention volume of 110 percent, no solvents can escape from the container into the environment. Users of the Varibox can completely dispense with cumbersome safety drip pans. If the Varibox 250 should ever be damaged, a built-in control unit checks the container for leaks. Parts of the Varibox 250 can be replaced individually. This not only saves valuable resources, but also the user's wallet. Compared to conventional intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), the Varibox 250 has a significantly longer service life, on average up to ten years. Richard Geiss GmbH offers the Varibox 250 in two variants: one variant for fresh goods as a blue container and one variant for used goods as a yellow container. The visual separation of fresh and used goods is supported by a technical separation. The Varibox for fresh goods has a 3-pin connector, the used goods container has a 4-pin connector. The optimum connection prevents fresh and used goods from being mixed up and prevents incorrect filling. The closed system also means that no emissions are released into the environment.
Compact and stackable smart container
With its dimensions of 600 x 800 x 1,200 mm, the Varibox 250 is particularly compact and can therefore be stored in even the smallest of spaces. Particularly practical for space-saving storage: the Varibox 250 can be stacked on top of each other up to a maximum load of 522 kilograms. Transportation on site is just as easy: the compact safety container can be moved and relocated using a forklift or pallet truck. The Varibox 250 becomes smart as a Connect version. Optional mobile monitoring via the customer's own dashboard gives the user access to all available data on their Variboxes, such as the location, temperature or fill level of the respective containers. "The dashboard allows us to offer our customers a whole new level of all-round service. For example, we can predict when the respective Varibox will be empty and proactively organize an appropriate replenishment of fresh goods," emphasizes Fabian Baur, Product Manager at Richard Geiss GmbH.
