CRC Industries introduces new water-based environmentally friendly degreaser

CRC Industries introduces Hydropower, a new high-performance water-based industrial degreaser that is part of the new Green Force environmentally friendly product platform for industrial users.
CRC Industries' new Hydropower degreaser is a water-based, NSF-approved, neutral pH solution that is professionally formulated to be as effective as traditional solvent-based cleaners. It quickly and safely removes grease, oil, lubricants, dirt and other tough contaminants from mechanical parts and surfaces. Hydropower is an environmentally friendly degreaser with a water-based formula that is readily biodegradable (≥ 60% according to OECD 301). It contains no harmful volatile organic compounds (VOC) or hydrocarbon solvents and is non-flammable. The aerosol is free of hazard symbols and therefore protects both the environment and the user's health, making it a reliable alternative to conventional solvent-based cleaners. The new Hydropower degreaser is part of the NSF-certified "Food Processing Safe" (FPS) product range, which has been specially developed to meet the stringent requirements of the food, beverage and packaging industries for easy maintenance and safe protection of machinery and consumers.
The new water-based cleaner will be launched under CRC Industries' new sustainable Green Force product range to ensure compliance with current environmental regulations. CRC Industries aims to achieve these goals with its new Green Force eco-platform (Force Verte in France): a range of degreasers, lubricants and special formulations that have been analyzed according to specific scientific criteria to meet users' ESG requirements. For example, the products are readily biodegradable, independently verified, have low (<10%) %) or no VOCs and contain no nasty or environmental health warnings. These products usually only carry a standard warning symbol related to flammability, which is typical of many aerosol products. As a mandatory requirement, Green Force products must be readily biodegradable (>60%) according to the OECD A-F test. To clarify: If the substance drips onto the floor, more than 60% must disappear within 28 days. Products must also meet one or more of the following three general criteria: low (<10%) %) or no VOC formula; >50% % renewable material or bio-based product; >50% % water-based formula. All Green Force products must also meet five additional criteria, which can be expanded in line with the introduction of new legislation. Products that meet the criteria will carry the Green Force logo on their label image supported by a certificate of compliance for use during the audit.
