2nd FiT2clean Award 2023: Application phase started
The Fit2clean Award, initiated by the German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association (FiT) 2022, annually rewards outstanding achievements and new solutions to a current challenge in industrial parts cleaning. The application phase for this year's award started a few days ago.
The FiT will again present the Fit2clean Award in 2023 as an award for outstanding performance and new solutions in industrial parts cleaning. The application phase for this year's award, which is endowed with 10,000 euros, began a few days ago and runs until July 31. The call for entries is aimed nationally and internationally at suppliers and users of industrial cleaning technology. For the 2023 Award, innovative solutions, currently implemented product ideas and further developments from the following subject areas can be submitted: Innovation - new product or product variation for more efficient implementation of current requirements in industrial parts cleaning; Ecology - solutions for industrial parts cleaning or for the modification of a product, process or application resulting in resource-optimized process control or savings of resources; and QSRein 4.0 - innovative system solution for knowledge-based process control in industrial parts cleaning.
"The fact that there is also impressive innovation potential in component cleaning was shown by the presentation of the first FiT2clean Award 2022," reports Dr. Michael Flämmich, Chairman of the Fachverband industrielle Teilereinigung e. V. (FiT). "We are therefore already looking forward to receiving applications for this year's FiT2clean Award." To determine the winner, an independent jury of experts - - seven people from science, research, industry and the media - - will evaluate the submitted applications according to defined criteria. Participation is not possible for companies and organizations that send jury members. The FiT2clean Award will be presented on September 28, 2023, during parts2clean at the FiT action area, before which the three finalists will present their submitted solutions. The leading trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning will take place from September 26 to 28, 2023, at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center.
