New Pfeiffer Vacuum facility for leak detection and vacuum technology (Pfeiffer Vacuum)

Pfeiffer Vacuum opened a new 3,700 square meter facility for leak detection and vacuum technology on May 13. The state-of-the-art facility is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.

At the new facility in Indianapolis, USA, North American customers of Peiffer Vacuum, one of the world's leading providers of vacuum and leak detection solutions, are supported in all technical matters relating to leak detection and high vacuum technology. The focus is on semiconductor applications, medical devices, consumer electronics, pharmaceuticals, automotive and industrial. The new building houses a CNC machine shop and modular assembly areas for air and helium leak detectors and customized vacuum systems.

A new application lab offers customers great added value with face-to-face or interactive training and demonstrations. Customers can have parts tested here using all Pfeiffer Vacuum leak detection technologies including air, helium and hydrogen testing methods and determine which method is best suited for their application. With the newly established multimedia production center, Pfeiffer Vacuum documents the optimal solution. In addition to the Leak Detection Competence Center, Pfeiffer Vacuum has created a Custom Vacuum Solutions team responsible for development, design, manufacturing and training. The new building is particularly sustainable thanks to the high-quality and efficient insulation of the roof and the significant reduction in energy consumption for heating and cooling.
