New edition of the optimized RAL D2 color fan
RAL has reissued the RAL D2 color fan. For the new edition, the fan has been optimized for worldwide use. Among other things, the color designations in different languages can now be found directly on the back of the language tiles.
RAL GmbH has published a new, optimized edition of the popular RAL D2 color fan. This is available with immediate effect. The color fan contains all 1,825 finely graded color shades of the RAL Design System plus and thus offers a multitude of nuances for the most diverse areas of application. RAL's mission is to make the handling of the fan easier and more effective for users all over the world and thus to continuously develop RAL Colours.
The universal, international applicability and positive user experience has been optimized by the following innovations: The color name on the front is now in English, the additional fan with different language variants of the color names is omitted. Instead, the color names in German, Chinese and Russian can be found directly on the back of the respective color tile. These language variants as well as all color names in French are also available as a download on the RAL website. An index at the beginning of the fan as well as page numbers help to find the color shades more easily. Increased grammage of the paper and associated improved stability extend the life of the product and ensure high quality. In addition, the format of the protective box has been reduced and now looks more harmonious.
