Asis GmbH, an expert in automated surface technology, is setting the course for an orderly company succession: Alexander Schmunk will take over the position of Chief Executive Officer on July 9. The previous CEO, company founder and owner Hans-Jürgen Multhammer will step into the second row and remain on the management board - with his experience and strategic vision as a valuable sparring partner. The change at the top represents a clearly structured generational transition. The new management line-up strengthens the long-term orientation of the growing company and sends out a signal of continuity and sustainability.

Asis on course for growth with CEO Alexander Schmunk

Alexander Schmunk has achieved unprecedented development at Asis. Since joining the company in 2007, he has worked in key areas of the company. His career began in electrical design and led him from software and project management in Germany and abroad to technical sales, where he later took over the management. In 2023, he was appointed to the Management Board as CSO and was most recently responsible for operations and strategic business development as COO. "Alexander combines technical expertise, entrepreneurial thinking and strong leadership. He knows our company like no other and enjoys the trust of customers, partners and employees alike," says Hans-Jürgen Multhammer. "He is the ideal candidate for the top management position." Asis GmbH, headquartered in Landshut, is known as an automation expert for perfect surfaces. The company develops and implements individual systems for coating, measuring technology and surface treatment - always with a focus on end-to-end automation. With Alexander Schmunk, Asis GmbH intends to continue its growth course and further expand its position as a reliable partner in surface technology both nationally and internationally.
