ISH 2023: VDMA informs about room air technology

The ISH 2023 trade fair presents comprehensive solutions from refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology. At the Indoor-Air hotspot and at its booth, the VDMA will provide information on the entire range of indoor air technology and other important business topics.
A special highlight at the ISH 2023 trade fair from March 13 to 17 in Frankfurt will be the Indoor-Air hotspot in Hall 8.0, where leading industry associations in refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology will be presenting their products and services throughout all days of the trade fair. The joint forum of the German Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Association (FGK), the German Ventilation Association (VDMA) and the German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Association (VDKF) will feature international contributions from the European Ventilation Industry Association (EVIA) and the Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Associations (REHVA), in addition to their own expert contributions and panel discussions. People spend more than 80 percent of their time indoors. "That's why we have to set the highest standards for indoor air quality - in schools and offices as well as in our homes and all other buildings where people spend extended periods of time," emphasizes Robert Hild, Managing Director of the General Air Technology Association within VDMA.
"In this indoor-air hotspot, visitors can obtain detailed information about the entire range of indoor air technology," explains Robert Hild. "As a joint forum of industry-relevant associations, we are also sending an important signal in the direction of politics." This is because leading associations in ventilation and air conditioning technology have already been clarifying the minimum requirements for mechanical school ventilation systems, for example, for some time. A joint document describes the technical framework conditions that should definitely be taken into account when planning mechanical ventilation systems. In addition to the joint forum, the General Air Treatment Association will be offering a special event at its information stand in Hall 8.0, Stand No. A31: Throughout all days of the trade show, a team of VDMA experts will be providing information on various key topics relating to the association's work. "We offer a broad range of topics at ISH," says Hild. "In addition to topics relevant to our industry association, we provide information on key challenges from business and operational practice. Our experts will be available for on-site dialog under the motto 'Meet the Expert' on the upcoming challenges in export, recruiting young talent, energy policy, research funding and other important topics."
