BVS Blechtechnik invests in press brake technology

BVS Blechtechnik GmbH is investing in a new all-electric Amada EGB-1303AE-C ATC bending machine and expanding its machine park with state-of-the-art technology. BVS is thus consciously strengthening its production capacities, especially in economically challenging times.
The new Amada EGB-1303AE-C ATC at BVS Blechtechnik is an all-electric press brake with automatic tool changer (ATC). It impresses with a combination of maximum precision, significantly reduced set-up times and increased energy efficiency - features that make all the difference in today's production environment. Thanks to the intelligent software package, the complexity of the machining process is reduced and operation is considerably simplified for employees. "We think that now is an important time to invest and send out a signal," explains Harald Steiner, Managing Director of BVS Blechtechnik GmbH. "We believe in our industrial location and that this is precisely the time to position ourselves for the future."
BVS Blechtechnik invests anti-cyclically
"The new machine has a visualization system that shows the employee directly what needs to be done," says Steiner. "That's important and forward-looking." The increasing complexity of components makes intuitive, digital assistance systems essential today. Despite economic uncertainties, BVS is looking ahead with determination. The new machine is just the start - the company is planning more investments on a considerable scale for the rest of the year in order to consistently modernize the production landscape. "Even though we are already a modern company, it is always time to modernize further," explains Steiner. "Especially now, when the signs are pointing to a standstill in many places, it is all the more relevant to act anti-cyclically."
