Busch opens vacuum competence center in Austria

The Busch Group is expanding its activities in Austria: The vacuum competence center in Korneuburg in Lower Austria is the new headquarters of Busch Vacuum Solutions and Pfeiffer Vacuum.
The Busch Group's new vacuum competence center in Austria covers a total area of almost 3,800 m². Here, the two companies Busch Vacuum Solutions and Pfeiffer Vacuum, with almost 60 employees, offer their Austrian customers the entire product and service spectrum of modern vacuum and leak detection solutions. A reason to celebrate. On the occasion of the opening ceremony, Kaya Busch, co-owner and co-CEO of Busch Vacuum Solutions, welcomed numerous customers, sales partners and employees: "With the opening of the vacuum competence center in Korneuburg, we as the Busch Group have taken another important step towards strengthening our market position in Austria and continuously improving our service and product offerings." Karl Seiberl, Managing Director of Pfeiffer Vacuum Austria, added: "This is the first location within the Busch Group where both companies are united under one roof. We are proud to now be able to offer our customers and partners the full range of vacuum expertise."
To mark the occasion, there was an exhibition of the Busch Group's latest products. In addition to vacuum pumps, leak detectors and mass spectrometers were also presented. During the tour of the new site, it quickly became clear that the doubling of the service area would enable an important expansion of the service offering. Additional rooms are used to create customer-specific solutions. Another highlight of the opening was the "vacuum course", which gave all guests the opportunity to discover the fascinating world of vacuum. This course taught the basics of leak detection and how vacuum pumps work in a fun way. The guests were asked to master various challenges. Among other things, they were allowed to test a vacuum apparatus for leaks. To demonstrate the quiet operation of the new HiScroll pump, they had to identify the vacuum pump that was actually in operation from three vacuum pumps set up next to each other. The winners were delighted to receive attractive prizes.
