The Benteler Group has secured its financing for the coming years: The company placed a secured bond with institutional investors in the amount of 600 million euros. The bond was oversubscribed several times and runs until 2031.

At the same time, Benteler signed a new loan facility in the amount of EUR 1.4 billion. This runs until 2030 and consists of a loan of 1.0 billion euros. In addition, Benteler now has a revolving credit facility of 400 million euros. Ralf Göttel, CEO of the Benteler Group: "The continued high level of investor confidence is probably the clearest proof of the success of our transformation. Our strategy, which focuses on balance, resilience and future orientation, is working: Benteler is well positioned - despite all the challenges in our market environment. Our goal is to continue to grow profitably. To this end, cost efficiency remains a clear priority. At the same time, we are investing in our product portfolio, expanding into new markets such as Morocco and pushing ahead with future initiatives such as our autonomous shuttle Holon urban."

The Group is using the funds from the current transaction to refinance its existing long-term liabilities. This step was originally not planned until 2028. The background to this is the Group's positive earnings performance: the past three financial years 2022-2024 were the most successful in the company's history. Tobias Braun, CFO of the Benteler Group: "Following our debut on the capital market in 2023, we have now concluded our new refinancing early and at improved conditions. This further optimizes our financing structure. The fact that we have succeeded in doing this despite all the current geopolitical uncertainties shows how attractive our Group is to investors. The refinancing gives us stability, especially in the current volatile environment."
