Florian Wimmenauer and Dr. Pascal Schug have taken over the position of CEO at Aucos AG. The company intends to initiate a realignment for a successful future in the automation industry.

Aucos AG has set the personnel course for the future: Florian Wimmenauer and Dr. Pascal Schug have taken over the Management Board of Aucos AG as of October 28, 2024. After ten successful years on the Management Board, Peter Kessels and Andreas Schuhmacher will continue to support Aucos with their many years of expertise as Senior Consultants. Florian Wimmenauer, AI and software expert, moves from Head of Research & Development at Aucos AG to the Management Board. "The strong drive for innovation, the passion for optimizing complex production systems and the strong team spirit at Aucos have always inspired me. Taking over a family business through the next generation is a challenging and exciting task. In a modern world characterized by rapid change, it is more important than ever to combine proven traditions with innovative ideas in order to achieve long-term success for our customers and the Aucos team," says Wimmenauer, who already acted as a central contact for strategic issues in development in his previous role.

Realignment at Aucos in the automation sector

Aucos welcomes a new face in Dr. Pascal Schug. After leading the Düring Group as Managing Director for four years, the entrepreneur is returning to Aachen, the city where he studied, to start a new journey at Aucos. The father of two worked for the Possehl Group in Lübeck and Augsburg in the SME investments division until 2024. In addition to his technical background, he will contribute his entrepreneurial thinking and broad international expertise to Aucos. "As the market leader in automation technology, Aucos AG is ideally placed to create real added value for our customers together with our partners," says Dr. Schug. Wimmenauer is responsible for all technical issues on the Management Board. Dr. Schug is responsible for the commercial and sales areas. With this realignment, Aucos is setting the course for a successful future in the automation industry.
