Acp Systems with new Management Board member for Automation
With the newly created "Automation" division, Acp Systems AG is responding to the enormous increase in importance of this business segment in recent years. Thomas Lang was appointed as the Management Board member responsible for this division as of February 1, 2025.
The customer-specific automation of manufacturing processes is one of the core competencies of Acp Systems AG, alongside technologies for industrial component cleaning with recycled CO2 and microdispensing. Thanks to innovative automation solutions for electronics and battery cell production, medical and microtechnology, energy technology and consumer electronics, among others, this business segment of the internationally active company has grown strongly in recent years. This development is reflected in the newly created "Automation" division, for which Thomas Lang was appointed to the Executive Board with effect from February 1, 2025. It brings together all resources from the areas of automated handling and assembly, robotics, digitalization, software, inspection and testing.

The global market for automated manufacturing solutions has a considerable volume with interesting growth rates," says Fabian Schmutz, CEO of Acp Systems AG. "With his expertise and experience, Thomas Lang is an ideal appointment for this area of the Management Board. He will make a significant contribution to sharpening our company's profile as an automation specialist and strengthening the automation business area." Thomas Lang has more than 25 years of experience in the automation industry. During this time, he has held management positions at various companies. With Thomas Lang, the Management Board of Acp Systems AG comprises three people. Günther Schmauz, who is responsible for the Purity Technology division, and Dr. rer. pol. Fabian Schmutz as Chairman of the Management Board.
