At PaintExpo, world market leaders, innovation drivers and medium-sized companies from the industrial painting technology sector will be presenting themselves in Karlsruhe from April 14 to 17, 2026 with international participation at a record level.

PaintExpo 2026 is in top form five months before the trade fair opens: More than 360 exhibitors have already secured their place at the world's leading trade fair for industrial painting technology. This means that around 90 percent of the available 30,000 square meters of exhibition space is already occupied. Particularly pleasing: the international share is 54 percent. Companies from a total of 26 countries will be represented. The strongest exhibitor countries include Italy, Turkey, France, Switzerland and Poland. "We're delighted that PaintExpo is once again developing such a strong international appeal", says Carmen Bender, PaintExpo Project Director. "The fact that companies from countries such as Cyprus, Egypt and Vietnam have also registered this time shows just how global industrial painting technology has become. This diversity brings together new perspectives, technologies and markets and confirms PaintExpo as the meeting place for the global industry."

PaintExpo 2026 with information on career opportunities in the paint technology sector

In addition to the proven trade fair concept, PaintExpo 2026 will feature a future-oriented innovation: The Friday of the trade fair will be dedicated to a decidedly important target group. Prospective graduates are to be made aware of the diverse career opportunities in the paint technology industry - including those from non-specialist fields of study. In cooperation with universities from a radius of 200 kilometers around Karlsruhe, students from the fields of electrical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering and software development, for example, are invited. A keynote lecture with cross-industry relevance, guided tours of selected exhibitors and practical examples directly at the stands will show how versatile the entry into painting technology can be. The concept is supported by the PaintExpo Advisory Board and offers interested exhibitors the opportunity to present themselves to additional potential young professionals. Thanks to the close cooperation between Leipziger Messe and Messe Karlsruhe, exhibitors and visitors will benefit from optimized on-site processes in the coming year. Modern infrastructure measures and the reopening of the P3 parking lot will ensure smoother access and a more comfortable trade fair experience overall. The ticket store for PaintExpo 2026 is now open. Those who register early will benefit from convenient online booking, avoid waiting times on site and can plan their visit to the trade fair optimally in advance.
