Sprimag has launched the latest generation of its S-7MD automatic spray gun. This ultra-modern spray gun not only promises precision at the highest level, but also sets new standards in terms of performance in the coating process.

The latest generation of the S-7MD automatic spray gun from Sprimag is already being used successfully in many paint shops. The highlight of the S-7MD is the immediate spray jet formation, as the entire control intelligence is built directly into the unit. This not only increases productivity, but also improves the coating quality. The most precise painting results are the consequence of this innovative control revolution. Even coating processes with just one revolution are possible. Fast blast build-up is an important criterion for the customer, especially for systems that run with extremely high cycle times. However, demanding coating systems also benefit from this feature. The advanced technology of the S-7MD also leads to an increase in coating efficiency, which results in both time and resource savings for the user. With its intuitive operation and intelligent functions, the S-7MD facilitates the implementation of complicated painting processes and optimizes workflows during maintenance and the setup of new products. This can be seen, for example, in the optimized material quantity regulation with screw-on marking and setting lock.

When using the S-7MD with extension set, Sprimag was also able to further improve the circulation resistance in the paint tube. The special geometry on the air tube head results in less soiling, which in turn avoids production interruptions due to long cleaning times. However, customers who previously used the predecessor models S-7 or S-333 do not have to do without any of the familiar advantages, such as the wide range of variants. The robot TCP, the quick-change holder, the variety of nozzle sets and many identical parts, as well as the space requirement, also remain the same, so that older Sprimag apparatus systems can be easily converted to the new S7-MD. Apparatus technology is therefore an important cornerstone on the way to perfect coating results, which is why development work at Sprimag is also running at full speed in this area, as the regular innovations make clear. Visitors to PaintExpo 2024 are invited to visit the Sprimag stand and experience the S-7MD up close.
