Plating Electronic: Change of management and new brand identity
Plating Electronic, a specialist in direct current and pulsed current solutions for industrial and electrochemical processes, completed a generational change in 2026. As part of the handover, the brand identity and communication were further developed.
Founded in 1987 by Karl Rieder and Konrad Hoch, the family business Plating Electronic has been managed by the second generation since 2026. With the handover to Sebastian, Matthias and Marius Rieder, Plating Electronic is focusing on continuity in quality and service, combined with clear further developments in structure, transparency and customer experience. The new brand world makes this orientation more visible: a more modern, consistent appearance as well as clearer, uniform communication materials for customers and partners. Karl Rieder: "After almost four decades, the handover feels just right - because I can see how well prepared the next generation is and how clearly they are taking on responsibility. Sebastian, Matthias and Marius bring fresh energy, new impetus and an eye for further development - in applications, in markets and in the way we support projects. At the same time, what has made us strong remains firmly anchored: reliability, fairness and solutions that work in the long term."
Acquisition of Plating Electronic and new website
Sebastian, Matthias and Marius Rieder emphasize: "We are taking over a company with a strong foundation - and we are continuing to build on it consistently. The breath of fresh air is reflected in the fact that we are structuring processes more clearly, increasing transparency and speed and significantly simplifying access to information and contacts - making projects easier to plan and collaboration even more efficient." The updated website will go live in the coming weeks and support customers and partners in their project work with clearer navigation, structured content and improved orientation within the product categories. At the same time, the value proposition remains central: We care for power at Plating Electronic means service as part of the solution, from design and system calculation to integration, commissioning and lifecycle support. Until then, all previous online content and contact channels will remain available unchanged. Despite the new brand look, the central cornerstones remain the same: Development and production in Germany, practice-oriented engineering expertise and international support via subsidiaries, partners and distributors in Europe, North America and Asia. Plating Electronic is also active in relevant trade associations, including the ZVO (since 2016), the DGO (since 2011) and the VOA (since 2009).
