Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2023
A turbulent 2022 is coming to an end: the energy crisis, Ukraine and the Corona impact have affected us all. But there are also many bright spots, including for the surface technology industry.
In 2022, it was finally possible to meet in person again and numerous conferences and trade shows were held once more - with an upward trend. And despite the circumstances that accompanied us this year, many companies managed to survive and even expand their position in their markets through innovations. The German IFO Institute reports that - based on the regularly surveyed business climate index - the mood among companies brightened noticeably in December. These are good and encouraging signs for the coming year.
It was also an exciting and successful year for Oberfläche-Online/Surface Technology Online. After months of preparation, we were able to launch our online magazine in spring 2022 and it has been well received. We would like to thank all readers, authors, companies, PR agencies and event organizers who supported and accompanied us in the past year.
